Well. I originally posted that the reason I was against the police taking random DNA was because I thought they could not be trusted to be professional enough to do their jobs properly. ( With me so far Db?)

So, the fact that this innocent man died, the fact that the police had to pay out £50,000 is because indeed they are unprofessional and incompetent or the chap would still be alive!
Is that clear enough now Db?

Sorry. Didn't realise you were harking back to the original post. The rest of us had moved the discussion on somewhat. Come back when you've caught up - maybe you'll realise the relevance of my first post today.
