First pair of DM's were 8-Hole black ones when I was in secondary school & I still have & wear them now.
My second pair were like these ones:

My best mate "borrowed" them and still has not returned them to me...

I would like a pair of the 20-eye boots in black.

Oooooooooooooh! I like them!

I need some good quality flat shoes.

I bet they're leather though


I was very pleased to get some plastic DM boots about 1993. My friend put in some birthday money - they cost £45 being the most expensive footwear I've ever had.

However, they're still going strong. Wore them first time in ages a few weeks ago with the snow, forgot how comfy they were.

Having only size 8 footsies I can buy the women's ones in soft leather so I don't have to break them in Current pair are pink ones dyed black which are scuffing to a nice pink / black marbled effect

1st pair were a 20 hole steel toe capped black pair, bought from the DM shop in Camden town- this was when I was 14 -so 1983-much to my mothers distress

Ive had various pairs over the years my fave are a pair of DM Chelsea boots

I used to wear black 1490s (10 hole) all the time. To me they were the best looking of the lot. Now I don't wear them; 10s are too small, 11s too big

I worked at the Manchester DMs shop, so got two free pairs a year until it closed down about six years ago.

I wore those in black (school uniform restriction) when I was 12 or so.

When I was 15 I had some black and red boots. The first wave of german exchanges were quite into DM's (cheaper here). My exchange bought green ones so I dyed some of her hair green to match and then her mates who had bought red and blue also dyed matching streaks in their hair.
Mine are in the bottom of the wardrobe actually I've not worn them since glastonbury '98. They still have mud on them.

Black DM shoes forever - school and beyond, and I still have them - last outing was in the snow. I miss my brother breaking them in for me since his feet got bigger than mine!

same shoe ^ in black as well...worn to fuck but i love em with a pair natty well worn in levis and a tshirt, hair in a ponytail...

thats me most days before 3 or 4 when i sometimes have to put my grown up stuff on
