Dj Hype - Fantasy FM 1991?

The beauty of HYPE is that no tracks are ever the same......he mixes and explores like no other. Great sites and some mates have DAT tapes which one day will be available. Hardcore don't you sell out. :)

Some of them used to freak me out ! It was as if they were for someone else, like I shouldnt be listening to them....weird!
"Rockin into the 90's with deck technicians such as ......." Is it that long ago already?!!! They were great days, you felt like you were part of something big and new and we were gonna change the world. I also said i would never end up working in an office.....

Naa. I found that if I stick that one up my arse, the day goes by a lot quicker, especially if I'm getting lots of text messages.

Dodgiest ad I ever heard was an anti-heroin commercial on Centreforce, it was about 2 minutes long and really badly acted voices playing out a day in the life of an infected needle, all sinister background music and echoed voices - funny thing was the main actor's voice was exactly the same as our local smack dealer's, who was also the spitting image of Daley Thompson.

I recall vividly all the Lucozade poster adverts from the time, just before they nicked Adamski's "NRG" thing ('89??) with Daley on them all getting defaced, with little speech bubbles saying "Fancy a shoot-up mate?" or "Got some pukka brown".

How we laughed.
 
Definitely got one or two - DJ Batman was my favourite because he had a speech impediment - I have one or two from the week More Protein released "Everything Starts With An E" because they played it non-stop.

Glad the links when down well :) The irony is that the computer I have now doesn’t have a sound card so I can’t listen anymore :(
If you do put any of this stuff on CD I’d absolutely love a copy, let me know if you don’t mind and I’ll PM my address or else I’m sometimes known to frequent the Joiners Arms – are you still involved in stuff there?

Don't worry, when I do get around to mastering this stuff up, I'll be making it well known to all and sundry.

T o all have 30 fantasy fm files from anton eze e rap hype flez krome etc etc dont mind sharing to all as that era very special to me and know how it must be to others as well. lost most of my tapes years ago you know the drill by now.....;/ never mind thank *** for the net cuz at least you can get some back. btw the guy who siad he was looking for hype london and nowhere else i have that set come and get it your welcome.. one note anyone else with any fantasy tapes get it together and burn them people are dying out here... just kidding but get it together anyway !!! :O) to all nice peeps who read this jellyjatblueyonder.co.uk

luckily i have lots of old mp3 s plus tapes lots of them fantasy fm dj massive , mystry man hype anton ezzee d pied piper g force krome etc etc anyone wanna trade plz contact [email protected] ..... :D
 
Cleaned out the attic and built the system needed to copy shitty old cassettes into mint CD recordings.

How much interest is there, seriously?

Because if loads are up for copies I might do some major duplicating and sort out a stall in Camden or something...

(though obviously you lot get free copies!)
