This is way out of line, really sad. If anyone knows of anything being done to support him or would like to do something, PM me.

potential engagement with ppl who generally are not engaged with, profile of case, and frankly cos its as good a chance as any to push some ideas about drugs and the law.

Also, fuck it what a poor guy. He's hardly the worst dnb type either.

Can't see that there's much scope for pushing ideas here about Dubai's drugs laws.

The guy's an idiot tbh.
 
Well, idiot is a strong term, but he should bloody well have made sure he knew what was in his pockets. I think trying to append this to a UKcentric campaign will only work for people who are already on our side.

He entered a foreign country & broke that country's laws.
I have more sympathy with the women being held for having Nurofen in her blood stream, the gent being held for the poppy seeds from the bagel & the gent who had a minute bit of green stuck in the tread of his shoes.
Some DJ who had a couple of grams of green in his pocket on entering a foreign country & their defence is "oh I did not realise I had it in my pocket.." is an idiot.
