Dirty Dancing's on the tele Ladies!

There are some really rude bits on the new DVD relase apparently. Too rude to have been on general release at the time. After all, how old is baby? 15?

Doubt it will be hot cock action though, probably just thrusting in pants ;)

my girlfriend watched it the other day on video and wanted to watch it again on tv. I let her on account she'd get bored of it - which she did :)

I've never seen Dirty Dancing. I somehow feel that I've missed the chance to enjoy it. In order to get corny films, don't you have to see them first time round as a teen who genuinely loves it so there's that nostalgia element? I feel that way about the Greases and Rocky Horror.

Not necessarily; I refused to watch Dirty Dancing for years, on the grounds that it was just too damn girly and contained dangerous levels of Patrick Swayze. I think I only watched it for the first time as a cynical 19 year old, and then with hate and cynicism in my heart. Nonetheless, it won me over and now I love its cheesy greatness :D

That film's a steaming pile of donkey doodah isn't it.

File under the "Grease and even more twee and annoying musicals' section

I thought it was pretty good for yer singing-dancing/abortion flick. Neck and neck in the feel-good Stakes with the original Alfie, in my book.

I love you May.

I think it's really funny cos it's so cheesy. Worth a watch if you've nothing better to do but I wouldn't buy the DVD or download it if you catch my drift.

grease is a far superior film. grease is actually a very good film

I love DD. Went to see it at the cinema a few months ago, it was a 20th anniversary celebration. Was great to see it on the big screen!

Mr Alice hates it, says Patrick Swayze walks like Freddie Starr

Mr Alice is quite correct:p

I just watched it for the first time ever, so I reckon I'm probably the last person in the universe to have seen it.:D It was FAB, even though Patrick Swayze has a face like a bag of spanners, and some of the dialogue was pure fromage.:D Great though.:D
