I've never seen Dirty Dancing. I somehow feel that I've missed the chance to enjoy it. In order to get corny films, don't you have to see them first time round as a teen who genuinely loves it so there's that nostalgia element? I feel that way about the Greases and Rocky Horror.

Not necessarily; I refused to watch Dirty Dancing for years, on the grounds that it was just too damn girly and contained dangerous levels of Patrick Swayze. I think I only watched it for the first time as a cynical 19 year old, and then with hate and cynicism in my heart. Nonetheless, it won me over and now I love its cheesy greatness

I thought it was pretty good for yer singing-dancing/abortion flick. Neck and neck in the feel-good Stakes with the original Alfie, in my book.

I think it's really funny cos it's so cheesy. Worth a watch if you've nothing better to do but I wouldn't buy the DVD or download it if you catch my drift.

I just watched it for the first time ever, so I reckon I'm probably the last person in the universe to have seen it. It was FAB, even though Patrick Swayze has a face like a bag of spanners, and some of the dialogue was pure fromage. Great though.
