Directions from Imax Waterloo to Westminster Bridge

Ah, you have a work block on maps. I can't access Google Maps from work either, which is exceptionally annoying.

I have just accessed the 'birds eye' view on MMap tho, and it's pretty damn cool!!

All of the subway exits from the IMAX have a number, the one your OH wants is North West in the bullring the IMAX is in, then straight up to a set of steps where he can sit down, turn left under the railway bridge, head toward the Eye.

no, I can access Google maps and I can access TFL maps but neither of them seem to be very detailed. It looks like only main roads are shown

Maybe printing out a birds' eye view will help them then, and I know there's lots of park benches to sit on along the River and then there's the entertainers.

Could you do a birds eye view on Tower Hill Station and Tower Pier and see which looks the nearest to Tower of London please.

the directions were rubbish as i read the title and put in wesminster bridge as the destination.

corrected directions. 0.4 miles

Start out along CHARLIE CHAPLIN WALK, heading north.
You'll soon pass IMAX Cinema.
After 150 metres turn left onto UPPER GROUND, heading south.

After 15 metres continue straight onto BELVEDERE ROAD, heading south.
After 100 metres turn left, heading south.
After 47 metres continue straight onto BELVEDERE ROAD PEDESTRIAN CROSSING, heading south.
After 15 metres continue straight onto BELVEDERE ROAD, heading south.
After 150 metres bear right onto JUBILEE GARDENS PATH at , heading south.
After 150 metres bear left onto THAMES PATH - THE QUEEN'S WALK, heading south.
You will reach your destination 25 metres along THAMES PATH - THE QUEEN'S WALK.

Huge difference. A difference of 0.3 of a mile which cuts 15 minutes off walking time :D

Will print those out as well thanks

Tower Hill Station. It's under a subway right next to the Tower of London...looks closer on the BE view too...

b/f's only just got there.

Totally worn out after getting the tube and arriving in Waterloo Station and trying to find the Imax. Says there's no signage and the area is huge and they've been walking around in circles lost, but have just managed to find the ticket office.

He's totally stressed :D

WTF? You walk out of Waterloo station and the thing's practically in front of you!

Even if you're coming from the Tube it's almost impossible to miss!

Eh? You can even get to the Imax from the station and you only have to go out side for a second. Straight out of the front of the station and down the subway. Infact the IMAX is fucking huge if you asked for directions at waterloo you would be laughed at.

Well that's what I said to him. I said it was apparently well sign-posted (although I do seem to remember guy at the IMAX saying something about making sure you take the underpass and you'll get confused). My b/f would have forgotten about that.

His brother couldn't find the place either.:o His 10-year-old niece ended up finding the way :D

They could have asked anyone. Can't they even manage that?
