Die McKeith! Die! in pain!

hmmm... perhaps that does explain the mucoid plaque business! I stick by the value of a good clean though.

For FUCKS SAKE are not even slightly concerned that you're risking your health by undergoing quack treatments??

Colonic Hydrotherapy is far from bullshit - what happens is that the colon will accumulate layers of black, rubbery goo ('mucoid plaque'). This is what you will certainly dislodge with proper cleansing. If you are feeling brave, google an image search. ;)

Why didn't I think of this: shove water up people's butts, and charge them for the privilege!:D

Bollocks bollocks followed by more bollocks. The above is the standard bumof regurguitated by quacks who want money for sticking a pipe up your arse. Your colon does not accumulate anything*. Waste products flow through your intestines and come out your arse, it doesn't need a hose, you can actually excrete shit naturally.

*Unless you have some fucking major colon cancer or cysts.

So, you'd rather go on the word of some quack, who is making you pay for a substance that causes the problem they then get rid of, rather than trusting your own body, something that has evolved it's own perfectly efficient internal cleaning system over millions of years?

You're an idiot.

Yes, I do, I have personal experience of the effects of both with regard to my CFS. The benefits I've found are those of increased well-being - better sleep, increased alertness, better mental state. Have you tried either?
I don't need to eat dog shit to know I don't want to do it. Thanks all the same.

Basing medical decisions on personal experience is bullshit. Plenty of things make you feel good for no reason at all, most of them don't even involve some quack jamming a hose up your wrong un.

When I had my first ever colonic irrigation a pill came out that had been lodged up there for about 18 months. The therapist saw it coming out down the tube.

*gets out the rubber gloves and a jug*

"now purse please madz"

:)

lovin the tag:cool:

I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

What a bizarre comment! In every area of decision-making, personal experience is surely our most valuable asset - except where our health - our most precious commodity - is concerned? Wow. I'm gobsmacked.

Hehehe..............

the really sad thing is that it's actually quite a pertinent way of looking at things for me......

No, it isn't.

The usefulness of personal experience is highly limited, particularly in matters of science. Your body doesn't work any differently to anybody else's, you know.
