Come on, fess up...
Dillinger, dave, el jefe, I see you!
me? no fucking chance.
lmao That was quick!
I have ONE deftones album on which I like one track. And I like Slipknot. That is IT for me and anything remotely nu-metal or whatever
I like that wait n bleed tune.
Only for their "special Korn powers"
I dont know anyone who'll admit to liking korn. *Someone* must have brought all those albums. Their artwork was good, mind. They put it back into the hands of the fans, maaan.
that's slipknot, lol
unless you were responding to el jefe.
i probably moshed to a few of their tracks during my mosher days going to metal nights when i was 18. never bought an album or single though.
not that one obvs
freak on a leash had a good video too
All my friends were well into Korn and Slipknot and System of a Down and Coal Chamber and all that other wank metal that was around at the time.
I have never really liked metal. I was always into punk. The only one I liked even slightly (and still do) is The Deftones.
Actually, yes, I have ONE album by korn along with my remaining cds in a basement somewhere. It may have been the one with the teddy on the front. That cover and inlay has some good emo artwork tbf. They launched a competition amongst the fans to design their album cover.
Oh and i think it's the album with jonathon's screaming like he's channelling getting touched up as a kid... tis quite distressing on first listening to that.
I'll admit it.
I liked "Follow The Leader", and I still think it's a good album.
i quite like 'new divide' by linkin park (are they nu metal?)
I loved em. Soundtrack to my youf that was.
Still do listen and reminise about college.
There wasnt such a hard and fast divide ime between metal and 'punk' -well what the kids in america call punk in the 90's as there was in the 80's. Especially with the 'nu-metal' lot so use trying to use that excuse. I see you!
i bought a couple of limp bizkit albums
I preferred Follow the Leader.
The artwork for issues was superb though, as were the runners up.
is that the one with the kid playing hopscotch or something? I think i may have that somewhere too. eek cant for the life of me remember what songs were on it now though
None of these bands were remotely metal:
NOFX, No Use For a Name, Pennywise, Lagwagon, Dead Kennedy's, The Clash, and loads of others I especially liked at the time.
I didn't like any metal.
Nope, Korn, Slipnot, System of a Down, the lot of them can fuck right off. Worst period of metal if you ask me...
innit, metal and punk were completely different. madusa doesn't know what she's talking about.
I used to love Korn. Not much any more though. Deftones are great though!
can everybody just calm down?!
Right, Dillinger and Strung out, I know loads of people who were into BOTH metal AND punk. ok?!
I liked Freak on a Leash.
So do I. I am not one of those people.
