To be held in the club bar after the home game 9/12/17, with DJ's from 18:30 until Midnight.

All proceeds from auction / raffle will go to the 12th Man

Meadow have agreed to donate the bar profits on the night to the club

Believe the licence actually bans children - not that anybody at Meadow would ever break the law

I'll start plugging it on Buzz next week and giving social media a good duffing up. I'm afraid the faffing with the location meant that it missed the deadline for the Lambeth Weekender.

Great to see the Supporters' Trust trying to raise funds to help the "12th Man" this way.
Just out of interest has the Trust made a, if this is the right word, a 'lump sum' to the cause, on behalf of the members, to help fund the fight to keep the team together, in this on-going crisis situation?

To be fair, the bar staff don't pay themselves, and we'd have been hard pushed to find a venue on a Saturday before Christmas that a) was free and b) donated all bar profits to the club

Not to mention it also ensures the maximum possible attendance + therefore further increases the potential contribution to the club

No, it's not, a genuine question.
And one I can ask as a Trust member.
If the Trust were to make a donation it would be a huge boost to both the '12th Man' and the Trust to see they were backing the on-going collecting.
I don't use Twitter, which is where they release most of their comments & statements, which is why I was asking on here.
Nothing sinister or 'fishing' in my question at all, I'm afraid, even though you've interpreted it as that.

i'd like to see the trust make a donation to the 12th man fund . i'm sure many of the new members of the trust think they are helping with the running costs of the club , but this is not the case . perhaps the trust could also consider a 'windfall tax ' on all the extra sales they have made since this crisis arose ?

Just to update forum users. All players and the management team have been paid on time and in full.
The players have an internal fines system that raises money for team building exercises but they kindly donated those back to the club.
The first battle has been won and we have a few more before we are on top of things completely but it's a great start.
If we can continue to come to games, fill Champion Hill and donate then we can still achieve all our aims this season.

If worst case scenario on Saturday, unofficial cans in the car park? Relocate to the fox on the hill or the cherry tree? Postpone?

I'd go for moody party in the car park, buy tins in Sainsburys & re-sell for "12th Man" profit, if the game doesn't go ahead.*
