DHFC fanzine

I hadn't heard of this place...thanks for sharing.
Same here...was thinking about a few days break, later in the year, basing myself in Manchester, not a city I've really explored, and there looks to be some great msueums. This fanzine place has practically made up my mind!

You've probably already noticed them, but here's a couple I've been to:

And another I spotted going past on a bus for a rugby match at Leigh that may be of interest:

Not sure if this is just one glorified FA marketing museum, but perhaps worth checking out http://www.nationalfootballmuseum.com/

And definitely take some DHFC stickers - http://www.nationalfootballmuseum.c...r-sticker-swaps-into-part-of-a-giant-artwork/

Yes
The Working Class Movement Library in Salford is my favorite, just ahead of the Peoples History Museum (Manchester)

and we should always remember the Peterloo Massacre
16th of August 1819 http://www.peterloomassacre.org/history.html

and American Civil rights movement and President Lincoln's debt of gratitude to the City of Manchester (and Lancashire) during the Cotton Famine http://www.theguardian.com/theguard...b/04/lincoln-oscars-manchester-cotton-abraham

Same with me. In connection with the Working Class Movement Library (never heard before - thanks for the hint!) and a Non-League-match Manchester could be worth a visit.

Stalybridge Celtic is my favourite ground in the Manchester area. They have played at their current Bower Fold ground for over 100 years and were a Football League club (founder members of the old Division 3 North) for two seasons in the 1920's:

My only visit was in December five seasons ago. They were playing Southport in Conference North and it was the only game to go ahead for miles around due to snow and ice, then it was abandoned after 85 minutes due to floodlight fairlure!
