Desperate Romantics (Pre-Raphaelite Period Drama)

loving this  very funny in parts, and very sad in others, it's my favourite thing on the telly at the moment

yes - me too.. it's utterly ridiculous and adrian whassisname who plays rossetti is not a good actor (tho was fine in 'being human')... but i love it!

i love the undergrad sense of humour and the pretty ladies and the aesthetic and lizzie's hair, and stuff.

but i love it in the way i love 'hotel babylon'.:o:cool:

Last episode tonight, I just caught up with last weeks on Iplayer.

Fred's a pressure cooker, waiting to go off

yes, yes - i loved it! can't wait for the second series (which must surely be to come). trash tv with a victoriarty veneer.

second series will focus around the jane morris thing, i guess. My primary school teacher, miss hollamby, lived in Red House - the house Willam Morrris built for Jane, and which Rosetti then came and played cuckoo in.
