Derren Brown will try to predict the lottery results, control the nation through subliminal messages and take down a casino in his forthcoming series of Channel 4 specials.
The illusionist will go head-to-head with the BBC’s National Lottery draw on Wednesday night with a 10-minute live show in which he tries to predict at least five of the six balls.
The special will also be projected onto buildings in London, Edinburgh, Manchester and Birmingham.
Brown’s 4 x 60-minute series of interactive specials, The Events, has so far been shrouded in secrecy, but he revealed some details this morning.
The series will kick off on Friday at 9pm with How To Win The Lottery, in which he explains how he did it and how viewers might be able to predict the results themselves.
The following editions are:
* How to Control the Nation: an experiment in subliminal messaging
* How to be a Psychic Spy: a look at the psychic arms race between Russia and the US during the 1960s and 1970s, including a nationwide psychic experiment
* How to Take Down a Casino: Brown attempts to clean up at the tables, with a twist to be explained during the show.
Brown is also fronting a 3D spectacular later this autumn as part of C4’s week of 3D programming.
