Apparently playing the last 4 mins of the half, then a 5 min break, then the second half

Guessing the BBC will only screen one match?Belgium v Russia also going ahead as planned, k/o 8pm British time.
They weren't due to screen Belgium v Russia anyway, that's on ITV.Guessing the BBC will only screen one match?

Ah yeah, the Russia match is on the 'light channel' isn't it.Guessing the BBC will only screen one match?
Could be anything, couldn't it. I know him surviving is all-important but he may never play again, or he might be back in months. What a turnaround! So much more positive than we all feared. I hope he has no long term issues resulting from this.
I think that is half right. How can the players from any team be in a mental state to play on? They're not machines.
To me it feels similar to a player with a head injury wanting to continue playing.I think that is half right.
Footy player's, like most sportsperson want to play sport. Likely Eriksen wants the game to go ahead.
The Danish will do it for Eriksen.I think that is half right.

Why shouldn't it be up to them to play on if they want to? It's nothing like a head injury where the long term health of the player is at stake. To me it feels similar to a player with a head injury wanting to continue playing.
Sure, of course they do, but at that point it arguably shouldn't be up to them.
I'm not gonna play doctor, but mental health should be just as protected as physical health. Why shouldn't it be up to them to play on if they want to? It's nothing like a head injury where the long term health of the player is at stake.
Apparently he spoke to them from his hospital bed, told them he felt fine and asked them to play on.I'm not gonna play doctor, but mental health should be just as protected as physical health.
BBC commentator talking about how it sends a "positive message" to the rest of the world that they're continuing and I'm honestly not sure. What are the motivations that make them decide to play a match so soon after their teammate almost died on the same pitch, and they've been dealing with the aftermath since.
I honestly don't know which way I fall on it, tbh, but equally that does mean I'm not certain it's the right thing to do overall.

Yeah, I read that too. Again, I'm honestly not sure that should make all that much difference, tbh.Apparently he spoke to them from his hospital bed, told them he felt fine and asked them to play on.
I know Gazza even at the height of his troubles said being on the pitch was the only place he felt ok, I mean these lads will be in game mode now. They can process the events of the day and maybe visit Eriksen after this is out of the way.Yeah, I read that too. Again, I'm honestly not sure that should make all that much difference, tbh.
But, they're playing, it is what it is.
