Beilin, Army Radio reported, called on Olmert to authorize Egypt to open negotiations with the Palestinian Authority towards a general cease-fire, within which kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit would be released, Kassam rocket and terror attacks would end.
Israel, according to Beilin's proposal, would end its military operations in Gaza, targeted killings, and would release detained Hamas parliamentarians as well as prisoners who were scheduled to be released prior to Shalit's abduction.

Just as moono has proven himself incapable of lateral thought
Lateral thinking is a term coined by Edward de Bono, a Maltese psychologist, physician, and writer. He defines Lateral Thinking as methods of thinking concerned with changing concepts and perception. For example:
It took two hours for two men to dig a hole five feet deep. How deep would it have been if ten men had dug the hole for two hours?

The airstrike destroyed a two-story house in the Sheik Radwan neighborhood, a Hamas stronghold in Gaza City. Rescue workers pulled from the rubble the mangled body of a child, clad in a red-T shirt, whose head was blown open by the blast and whose lower body was torn off.
Rami Samour, 25, who lived nearby, said the blast was so powerful that it blew the mutilated body of a woman into a neighboring house.
Rescue workers placed body parts into bags, as other people sat on the ground, apparently in shock. The house belonged to Hamas activist Dr. Nabil Abu Salmiyeh, a lecturer at Gaza City's Islamic University.
Palestinian hospital officials said Abu Salmiyeh, his wife and seven of their nine children were killed, and rescue workers said four people were still missing. The dead children ranged in age from 4 to 18, with the oldest suffering from a physical handicap, medical officials said.
Hospital officials said 37 people were wounded, three of them seriously.

Israel will be in neither Gaza nor the "West Bank." Still the violence will continue as it did prior to 67 and has after leaving Gaza. What will all the supporters of fighters of the occupation say then? Long live HAMASastan.
Rhyme: Yeah, I like Depeche Mode as well but in reality, where most of us live, there is violence for whatever reason. You can be a totally committed pacifist, live your convictions, but in the end you won't live very long at all. One must be willing to do unsavory things to protect what is near and dear to them. I love my family. I love my people. I love my home. If one were to try and take any of those things from me, I am more than willing to protect them with violence. This is how most feel.
