OK, I give in: What is "Chippy Sauce"? From what I can tell it's an Edinburgh phenomenon and is only barely similar to our pedestrian "HP" sauce....

Basically imagine a thinner version of HP with a lot more vinegar in so as to make it really sour. It's pretty nice.
