Most films about emerging technology often end up embarrassingly outdated in no time, but I thought Her was a really intriguing and thought provoking movie.

I came in here cos I actually thought you wanted suggestions for films about AI whose name started with the word "Her". Was curious about such niche nerdery in the films about AI community.

Very good movie - frequently pops up on Best Sci-Fi type lists though so not sure I’d agree it’s forgotten…

It’s flawed in some ways, I felt the reclusive genius in a lair thing was a bit weak but the AI element is pretty amazing

I liked Her a lot as well, it was quite a touching film

I found Her crushingly dull and never finished it.

Ex Machina was very well filmed which made up for a script that was a bit clangy and obvious in places.
