Death problem

I expect it to resemble in all particulars the 14 billion years of non-existence before I was born. Which weren't too bad.

Imagine you're one of those people who cannot accept death. That person thinks about death almost all day every day, and is scared shitless of not existing. Really hates the fact that the inevitable will inevitably happen sooner or later, and does not want it to happen, ever.

By investing time and effort into improving their life, they would have a lot to lose. So in that persons mind it seems logical that if they had nothing to live for, then they'd have nothing to lose, and so it wouldn't matter if they died. Therefore their problem would be solved, and they would have no need to worry or fear death anymore.

however, the ensolvement of this problem leads to a different problem - living a crap life because they're so scared of losing their lives that they're scared to invest much in their life.

It is ridiculous I know. But does this nonsense make sense to you?

Makes total sense to me :(

Sometimes, I wake up in a cold sweat, gripped by the fear of what happened to me before I was conceived.:)

I don't really fear death, just pain, and a deep reluctance to miss out on good sex, and other cool stuff.
