Death of a President - on tonight

It was way too long I agree with that, and I guess like others I just wanted to visually see the imagined shooting of Bush - and then the interest would fade away :D

Saying that, regarding the talking heads who were fawning over the loss of their great leader: unless it was my imagination I believe the director was satirising how biased documentaries can be.

I also liked the vision of the possible consequences of such an event, most worryingly the fact that Cheney would just take over and make matters worse, and the 'Patriot III' is not that outrageous a prophecy.

Did they think we'd be at all surprised that a Muslim remained on death row for it, even though they knew that the father of a dead soldier did it?? Hardly surprising since we know how many innocent people have been kept in their other prisons. I kept waiting for the big drama bit, and it never came - it was very predictable.

Well, Cheney is the one who's really in charge if you think about it. Cheney didn't have the charisma for the top job and so GWB was chosen because of his allegedly easy-going, folksy charm; the auld 'common touch' that was reminiscent of St Ronnie. The tragedy is that many Americans bought into the image.
