Death Cab For Cutie

So - whats the Urban consensus on this fine band? Their new single's playin at the mo on Radio6 and I'd forgotten how much I like em. A little cheesy lyrically possibly, but definitely several cuts above the likes of Coldplay musically. Check out 'Brothers on a hotel bed' if you've not tried any before.

I used to think the name was Death Camp for Cuties.

I think I like that name better.

Come on, they're great. Ok well the last album ('plans') was a bit commercial, as in a bit over produced. Though on the upside it was a good way to introduce the gf to em . But ' transatlanticism' was a lovely record, top notch IMO. So yeah, defo not crap.

I thought this was going to be a thread about the Bonzos song 'Death Cab For Cutie'
sadly not
wanders away......

Well that's the main problem for me, everytime I hear the phrase "Death Cab for Cutie" I automatically think "Yum yum, bonzos!", but most often recently it's this band. Hence I vote crap as there's nothing quite as good as the Bonzos.
