I'm actually dubious about last minute bids like this. We panic bought Benjani last transfer window.


We do need a striker over the age of 19 though (all we have fit are Jo, Ched and DS)

Don't get me wrong, I can see why you'd want him.

But for him, it's a sideways move and I can't see him doing it. He's not after the money, is he?

Good question but I'm pretty sure it was a Dubai-based group that was interested in Liverpool.

nothing as exciting as man city's "berbatov bid" but rumours are we are close to signing appiah, talking to ferreira and also possibly cavani and givet.

Not that all (or even any) of those will come off but transfer deadline day is all about the rumours.
