I have to confess that when one of my cats died about 8 years ago I put her in a bag in the wheelie bin

I put a few words in there with her ...

I didn't have anywhere to bury her and chickened out of burying her in the woods ....

It was hot so she got quite smelly after a day or two.

dead rat inside a placcy bag, inside another placcy bag, and then out with the rubbish is acceptable from a public health perspective - at least thats what the local council pest prevention people tell me.

There's a really noisy church two doors down from me but unfortunately it's got glass doors. There's nowhere that would really take a nail. Seriously considered it too.
