Dawn Goes Lesbian

I don't want to diminish it, but personality rules everything. :)

I was trying to not be hostile to you :) Your first comment annoyed me, and the remark about lesbians liking her annoyed me more, so I thought, okay, I won't get all hoity toity, I'll try and play along

And you misunderstood me

I admire your restraint, well, especially since I'm talking about something I know nothing about.

Oooo can't wait for this...i'm getting wound up just thinking about it  :D
Will be interesting to see how "The sisters" accept her into our world FFS

How does BBC Three keep finding new depths to plummet?

Fat teens hunt or something I saw the other week

How can any one "lezzing" up for a couple of weeks be anything but offensive to lesbians? I hope she gets glassed in the Candy Bar.

It used to be an OK channel, but now is full of dross and a garish pink colour scheme.

Huh? "Journalist Dawn Porter investigates the world of lesbianism. Setting herself strict rules, she immerses herself in a world of women only, moving in with lesbian housemates in Soho and working in a busy lesbian bar. She also interviews experts on female sexuality, while a scientific probe that measures sexual responses provides some surprising results."

Tonight, BBC3 9pm

I'm going to watch this so that I understand you better soj.

Actually, I probably won't as I don't get the point of it.

Why is this happening? "With a room of hard-core lesbians I have to leave". This look is not me don't have that look then. Be yourself. Is this the BBC or have NUTS tv taken over?

Seriously, at heart he's an Urbanite.

Wanker though. ;) :D

I don't like Russel Brand the tv personality / poncing twerp. However, he's a West Ham supporter, and anarchist, and his weekly football(ish) column in the guardian is the most left-wing of all their writers. and invariably quite good too.

Fuckin annoying programme! What was the point of it? Annoyed fuck out of me.The tests Porter underwent were hysterical...wow she got horny from looking at lesbian porn, how unusual . Pointless load of shite and the lesbians annoyed fuck out of me also. Just don't know what this programme was trying to prove/say but i was glad when it ended and Porter shimmied back to cockworld.

Next week, Jeremy Clarkson goes bareback cottaging.

Watch as popular real life troll jeremy Clarkson visits the many cottages of London in search of an understanding of male homosexuality. See his struggle with cultural comprehension as dozens of furtive fuckbuddies shove their unclad todgers deep into his guts. Revel in his plight, as he sucks off another stranger on his knees in an East London pisspit. Applaud as another lonely man spills his fetid seed in Clarkson's weeping eyes.

------------

I'd watch that.

:D:D:D

Self-selecting - only those desparate for TV exposure (which are never the best example of any kind of humans) would go for this programme.

Plus, this was the Candybar, right? I bet it was. Understanding the lesbian social scene by going to the Candy Bar is like understanding the straight social scene by going to Tiger, Tiger at 3am.

I bet this woman also posted her request for genuine lesbians (pre-filming) on several lesbian messageboards and got shot down in flames.

Seems odd that lesbians would still be outré enough to merit a schlockumentary. Guess it sells, though.

Totally agree with you and as a gay woman i have frequented the candybar in the past and hated that whole meat market atmosphere (with shit music btw!) and that scene is alien to me and even i don't understand it. It did make me laugh on occasion, especially when she browsed gaydar to pick up women :D. Her reaction at meeting her lesbian housemates for the first time was offensive (hey they didn't look like "lesbians" )

Well, that was as toecurlingly bad as I expected it to be, and then some.

Where do I start? Yeh, the 'don't look like lesbians' is a good place. I got REALLY pissed off when she went for a drink with that lass then complained she felt put on and pressured when the lass came on to her. FUCK OFF!

The 'butching up' was just cringeworthy. Interesting how the only lass she got off with was butch as fuck, eh? And as for her 'emotional' bond with that blonde girl - god give me strength. I wanted to punch her stupid fucking face in by that point - stop pretending

Oh - and 'lesbian' porn? No no no - that was lesbian porn for MEN, not real lesbian porn.

Actually Sam - I have a funny feeling she might just have approached me on Gaydar about this some time ago. I remember getting a message from someone asking if I'd be prepared to go on a programme - but reported it as spam, after I'd sent some kind of a 'fuck off and do your own research' message back :D

One of the Lesbians, Lucy, was in the first series of Shipwrecked on C4. I knew her at Uni.

What a load of bollocks, totally pointless. I mean if she really wanted to find out if she could have an emotional connection with women that went further then sex then I guess she just would have with out making a TV programme about it:rolleyes: And anyway Emotional connection happenes when it happens- a month isn't very long.

I have wondered if I could have an emotional connection, sexually with a woman and I have come to the conclusion that if so then I guess it will happen sometime, with out me specificly persuing it, but then I think that about men too:D
