Edited to add: Irving, like many racists, may have the freedom to say things but I have the freedom to knock their teeth down their throat, particularly if I happen to be the victim of such racism.

Yes lets cheer the complete destruction of any hope of freedom of speech we have in Europe. Lets all turn our back on any 'constitutional' rights the European Union wants to pretend it is creating, because we don't like the subject matter.

If Bush decided to lock someone up for talking about the 'conspiracy' of 9/11 you would all have something to say.

Yet now, its ok to Cheer, because you agree.

I truly despair sometimes.

We are talking about long established, and very specific, laws which are designed to hold the country itself to account.

It would be as if the US had passed a law in the early 1900s which made it illegal to claim that the native americans had willingly and voluntarily given up their land to the european settlers.
