David (Dave) Poole, editor of Land and liberty : anarchist influences in the Mexican revolution, (a collection of articles by Ricardo Flores Magón) has recently died. The news was shared by his daughter on twitter.
We've just posted a brief review by John M. Hart: "David Poole’s succinct biography of Ricardo Flores Magón, his compilation of Flores Magón’s essays, and his synoptic history of Mexican anarchism are a credit to his sensitivity and to his overall grasp of anarchism and of its place in Mexican history." Land and Liberty: Anarchist Influences in the Mexican Revolution, Ricardo Flores Magón [Book review]
Also up is a review by Dave of Prison Letters of Ricardo Flores Magon to Lilly Sarnoff "The appearance of this little book could not have come at a more opportune time, now that interest in Ricardo Flores Magon, the indomitable fighter for Land and Liberty, and without doubt the most important Mexican anarchist of our century, is growing." Prison Letters of Ricardo Flores Magon to Lilly Sarnoff [Review]
The KSL send condolences to his family, friends and comrades.
