I'm planning to come on some of their rides next week, they are doing a diffrent one every evening as part of Bike Week, including a midsummer madness ride, Thursday, that starts at 2am:)

I'm pleased to hear this and hope you enjoy your rides, Southwark Cyclists are a good bunch.

The Mid Summer Madness Ride is highly recommended, a London gem. Riding to Primrose Hill for the midsummer's day sunrise then on to breakfast. The massed ride through the City streets always attracts the attention of the good-natured City Police and a 3am visit to Bar Italia for a wake-up coffee is lively. I hope to see you there.

I've done this and really enjoyed it, it was mad to have hundreds of cyclists outside Bar Italia mingling with all the bikers!! Also being in Soho at that time and sober whilst everyone else was hammered was fun too! Best of all, of course, was sun rise! :)

Bump - cos the midsummer ride is in 4 hours time! Really looking forward to this one.
I've been out on a ride this evening as well, a 17 mile one round the edges of the entire borough of Southwark, that was pretty cool although I did struggle a bit when we got to Gypsy Hill:eek: :D
