Cyclists on the pavement

I dont have a problem with this in general. As long as cyclists don't ride at pedestrians at high speed expecting them to be able to leap out of the way in time and use the pavement as a default option, even when there is absolutely sod all traffic and a lot of pedestrians.

I do have a problem with cunts who think it's OK to ride at high speed on a pavement past a school 10 mins after the kids have been let out screaming for parents and young kids to 'get out my their fucking way'.

Surely a bike is a road vehicle and so subject to the laws for road vehicles?

People wouldn't drive a car onto the pavement to get round a red light, so why do it in a bike?

Pretty much, yes. Although if you're pushing your bike along and walking, then you're a pedestrian ;) (which some non-cyclists and car drivers don't seem to like)

I don't know. The bloke that pissed me off wasn't trying to get round a red light, it's a stretch of road where there isn't a cycle lane - so you either stay in the lane of traffic, overtake it - or be a twat and cycle along the pavement - then cut other cyclists up
