'Cos it:
a) hardly costs anything
b) is better for me
c) is better for the environment
d) it's fun

Yup. It's quicker than getting public transport in London in some ways - and you get to make your own stops where and when you want.

I combat getting my bike nicked/vandalised by having a really sad old brown one called Claudette  I didn't actually name it that - it's stuck on the crossbar :o

i have just wondered (during a conversation with zora) that you either are one all the way or you don't.

for me cycling is more than just transport, it is somehow a protest and a sport and a whole point of view towards life.

i also made the statement (one of those quick ones without any forethoughts on the issue) that i only ever could go out with another cyclist. the worst thing is i have thought about it now.. and it is actually true.

it's a bit bike fascist innit!? any others like this out there?

No. I stopped cycling after about 18 months.. cause I thought it was too dangerous and was doing my head in.. Much prefer walking.
