Dask said:I don't know if this is relavant but I'm sure in the last series there was a cyberman's head from 70's in that museum that had the dalek in it.
That suggest that these are differnt cybermen from the 70's Baker era that we all know and love. Unless the BBC have fucked up with continuity, although I doubt they would have so soon after 1st series.

I like the really, really old one - the first one. They look a bit crap, but strangely threatening, and they had this really creepy sing-song voice.peppery said:They look shit. The old Cybermen in their Jump Suits and DM's looked like thugs, menacing, as if they would give you a good kicking. These new ones just look so camp, overdesigned if anything, They don't look menacing at all.

But Daleks would turn you into Robomen, which would be pretty bad too, and look suspiciously like early Cybermen.nightowl said:probably because the daleks will just kill you but the cybermen might turn you into one of their own. a fate worse than death?

Wierd how organic beings that become machines still see a lot of value in making slaves out of inferior organic beings like humans and Ogrons, etc.. to perform menial tasks that you might think would be better performed by machines.
