Go to the trade agreements screen, at the bottom theres a search option use the pull down menu to select "Team + resources". In the search box type "black silver gems" and it'll show you the twenty folk who've got it. It's vital to trade within your team to get the +1 happiness bonus.

Alternatively go to http://z10.invisionfree.com/GATO/index.php?showforum=1
and apply to join GATO, quote me as recruiting you and once approved you get to use the trade forum as well as getting aid, I've had 85k so far not bad for the first week.

Coal and Uranium is a sought after combo so some players will be happy to include aid in a trade agreement. I know one GATO member looking to pay 100k for a trade of coal and lumber...

I agree we should all turn purple for trading purposes and start joining alliances for subterfuge purposes.

Basic tips please add to them.

Buy mainly infra at least until you get to lvl200, only buy soldiers or land when your population are unhappy with the levels.

Make sure your trades are with the same team to get +1 happiness per deal.

Don't trade with anyone who has any identical resources.

All alliances have financial mentoring, aid for new nations, and mutual protection schemes.

Don't panic about being attacked by a super power, wars can only take place between nations with strength in a range of 50-200%.

The "War is not an option" option is handy to start with but will have a negative effect on your earnings, so lose it as soon as you can.

Yep you can cancel trades but before they're approved...
