Whatever happened to the female hip-hop album that NWW were supposed to be putting out?

Ah, i remember hearing about that. The new album does have a lot of female vocals, but not remotely hip hop. It is fucking ace, however.

oh right. Haven't really been keeping up with that side of music. haven't looked at a copy of the Wire in about 2 years.

I like Nurse With Wound music when it's at its most abrasive, and also when they're a bit silly. I don't like them with they're ponderous - you know when they use synth pads and it starts to sound a bit Tangerine Dream?

I'm pretty sure I heard Stapleton say something about possibly working with Lady Sovereign, among other female rappers, or something, in an interview. But that was years ago.
