Curb Your Enthusiasm - next Series

I thought the show was over and done!

Larry David is hilarious. I'm glad I'm not related to him, but I would LOVE to work on something he's written one day.

From wiki:
Season 7

Season 7 has recently been confirmed, as Susie Essman told the New York Post that she has already started to film some scenes.[2] In a recent interview, Richard Lewis said David seems "very energetic and very upbeat, which usually means that he's come up with an arc for the next season."[3]

The Juan Catalan incident

In 2003, Juan Catalan, a resident of Los Angeles, was cleared of premeditated murder charges against a material witness (a crime eligible for capital punishment) after cut-out footage shot for the "Carpool Lane" episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm showed him and his daughter attending the Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Atlanta Braves baseball game some 20 miles from the scene, resulting in a $320,000 settlement.[4]

Dude Link or STFU! :D

Are you serious, someone got cleared of a capital crime because his brief saw him in the CYE outtakes?! The fuck!

Goddamn its true! - That is extraordinary!

Melnik [the lawyer] was determined to prove his client's innocence, even though he met skepticism when he subpoenaed tapes of the televised game from Fox ...

"I said, 'Come on! We're gonna save this guy's life. This is a death penalty case — you have to help me out here,'" Melnik told Crier.

When Melnik studied footage of the game, Catalan's face was not clear enough to make out.
But then his client remembered that an HBO TV crew had been filming near him that day...

Melnik sat in the editing bay with [Larry] David, carefully surveying the tape. Catalan was nowhere to be found in the final cut.
And then Melnik spotted his baseball-capped client in the corner of an outtake, sitting in his seat and eating a hotdog with his daughter.

"I jumped out of my chair and said, 'Roll that tape back!'" Melnik said. "It was him."

But seriously- its a capital case, you are in the frame for a lethal injection- wouldnt you remember sooner that there was a TV company filming?!

Still that is a lucky man. Serious.

That is one of my all time favourite episodes too! Mad story- good find!

OMG- just finished watching the last one- "the Bat Mitzvah!"

How bloody perfect was that blended family ending! :D :D Just so perfect!

Larry as a Dad, Loretta being the equal of Susie in the foul mouthed abuse stakes!!

The family in the cinema scene :D
Yes, but did Larry really have a gerbil up his arse?

Just watched all of season 6 again! Its simply sublime!

First time around I missed the Tivo Guy episode and so missed Cheryl seeking solace in the arms of the underwear guy.
Im glad she was sucking lemons at the Bat Mitzvah when she saw David and Loretta dancing!

Maggot- he told that witch of a nurse that he had a gerbil up his arse because he was irritated by her badgering to know what was wrong with him. It was the rudest thing he could think of, to shut her up!

Its my favourite thing on TV apart from the Wire.

Ah, I see. Thanks for clearing that up.

You must have been wondering why Larry and Cheryl had split up, if you missed the Tivo episode.

Yeah I did wonder why, but I was also amused that it was never mentioned again! Larry moped for an episode and was dating in the following one!

Cheryl did need a cattle prod up her though! She's a nice foil for Larry, ying to his yang, but just once I would have liked to see her challenge him with a knife the way Susie would! (Or at least raise her voice occasionally! Especially after hundreds of minor humiliations she suffered over the years).

It was good to find out what eventually did tip the scale, but even as she told him she was leaving, she wasnt angry, she was resigned!

After she left, she annoyed me in the Steve Coogan episode- unable to make a decision without her thrapist indeed! I was ok with Larry moving on in the final episode.

Larry David is currently my hero. he has been for a few months actually. i can't get enough of him.

does anyone else love the way he walks and moves too?

Foo! I love him too! And I love his gait and mannerisms!

In The Ida Funkhouser Roadside Memorial episode- when Larry is licking his icecream and flicking his tongue to pick up the drips... I was peeing!

I love how he laughs with Jeff! The Freakbook at Ted Danson's party was just jokes.:D The explosion of laughter! They laugh the way you did when you are 14 and in assembly with your mates!
