Curb Your Enthusiasm - next Series

Another good episode last night. Outrageous behaviour from Larry, sample abuse, but no Leon.

Oh the sampling abuse was so funny!

Not a funny as the manky $50 though!

I love the name 'Funkhouser.'

Part of you thinks Larry is reaching a new low by stealing those flowers, but another part thinks those kinds of tribute are a ridiculous waste anyway. CYE really does appeal to the inner arsehole in us all. :D

What a scatalogical episode. I loved the bit where the Waiter asked Cha Cha over to ask him how often Larry had been to the toilet.

I though last night's was alright. I laughed out loud a couple of times, and that doesn't happen very often.

I enjoyed Larry freaking out when he had to use the phone on the left ear.

And I'm quite liking the addition of the Hurricane family to the David household. I like the fact that he kind of resented them to start with but now seems to recognise their potential for roping into his general childishness and dodgy dealings.

Only twice? It's hardly worth watching then. I didn't laugh once.

Time for you to watch something else?

I'm a big fan, and this series is definitley the most consistent of the lot. Series 5 was a let down, if it finished after this I would be happy because it would go on such a high.

I've watched 1-4 so far and they've all been consistently very good.

There have been some really shite shows like Friends that have gone on for years, so why not do more...

My thoughts exactly.

Although I did watch the episode from season 5 with the sex offender going to the Seder again and thought it was really funny.

A couple of nights back More 4 re-ran the one where Larry picks up a Hooker so he can use the carpool lane to get to the baseball match.

There are moments of the purist highest farce, and the pay off at the end is just beeeeeeeautiful.

A thing of REAL genius. :)

Ha!

Tonight's episode was particularly good. I especially liked the way the freak book kept on reappearing in the proceedings.

:D Loved the scene where Larry and Mckenroe are laughing at the freak book in the presence of Heather Mills and get thrown out of the party :D :D

Do you think Larry writes the basic storyline for guest stars like McEnroe before he approaches them, or does he get chatting to them at some showbiz shindig as his mind starts going off on tangents?

Point in each show when you know the shit's going to start flying; when Larry approaches one of his "friends" or an acquiantance and says "Let me ask you something" as he did with Ted and the bow tie on Monday. :D

You've no idea how pissed off I am about this. My recorder keeps cutting off before the end of this program so the last I saw was Larry heading to the airport to meet John McEnroe.

Last week it was when his wife was having a go about the Port Authority toilet paper and his lodgers denied they's asked him for it.

Brianx- adjust the buffers in your SKY settings. Same thing happened to me and someone here helped me out.

Also- What days is CYE on? I keep bumping into it accidently in the schedules- new ones and old ones.
Watched the one with the surrogate and The Producers rehersals with David Schwimmer the other night :)

Hearing Irving Schwimmer cussing as David and Cheryl bed down, always creases up!

Yeah, the old ones seem to pop up on Sunday nights, but not always exactly the same time. Usually around 12.30/1am I think.
Its like unexpectedly bumping into a mad, but much loved old mate. I stop heading for bed and sit down for a catch up!:)
