How do they get these tickets?

Do they have a deal with the FA or the venue?

Someone I know has spoken to the FA's legal department. I have a feeling these tickets will be withdrawn from sale in the near future.

How much would peeps be prepared to pay then?

just curious...

Liverpool end. decent seats, not sure exactly where yet, but will be good.

like i say, just curious...

I'd give a oner for definite. Anything over that I'd have to take a view on.

News from www.whufc.com:

Although ticket selling arrangements for our FA Cup final against Liverpool at the Millennium Stadium on Saturday, May 13 are not yet finalised, the ticket office can confirm the following information...

West Ham United will occupy the South End of the Millennium Stadium (the same as our last two visits for the Play Off finals)

The allocation will be in the region of between 23-24,000. This is the same for Liverpool also.

Ticket prices are £90, £65 and £50 with no concessions or £25 Adults and £12.50 under 16s and seniors.

Tickets will only be sold to current season ticket holders. It is unlikely tickets will be sold to club members, and they will certainly not reach a general sale.

We expect to be in a position to confirm selling arrangements for the final at around 1.00pm today.

Absolutely shocking for a stadium that holds over 70,000.

In all honesty - £100 max.

I've been offered a season ticket for next year at £500.

Why waste it all on one match?

and therein lies the response to anyone giving it the 'don't fund the touts' line..

Until the FA sort out the allocation issue there'll always be touts, often with tickets sourced from the remaining 20,000+ corporate/FA-allocated numbers.

*cough*Bobby Charlton*cough*

No concessions except at the lowest ticket bands?! There's a scandal right there

And I know the allocations are stupid but it still makes the touts profiteering cunts who should be treated like the scum they are.

I wasn't joking or anything - the waiting list for those things is years and years - if at all.

yeah - it's five years.

But I used to have a season ticket - stopped going in the early 1990s. But still know a few blokes who go (who I used to go with). They sort me out.
