CSS Div help needed

Or think of it as TeRriBLe

See, that would just confuse me. I look at my screen and go clockwise from the top. Don't even have to think about it then. I guess people remember things differently :)

So, have standards changed much over the past couple of years? The advances in browsers might suggest things are different now than when I last learned anything about html/css. For instance, when I learned people didn't use this whole html>body thing and I'm not entirely sure what it means.

You know what, there's something immensely satisfying about starting with a blank page and writing some code.

I need a new project. Perhaps now is the time to get around to finally getting a portfolio done?

Ahhhh, code :)

I _think_ the html > body thing here is the child selector hack, isn't it? Hides stuff from IE6.

Ah, ok. I suppose I need to brush up on my knowledge of what different browsers are rendering these days.

As I said, I only _think_ it's that - still quite possible I'm completely wrong :)

My CSS is a bit shaky, for all that I'm meant to be doing it professionally :p

I've always thought it'd be really cool to do web design professionally. But then, lots of people who I serve in the shop tell me they think it must be really cool working in a bookshop – and they are dead wrong, so perhaps not eh?

Perhaps I could start a new career. I got 87% in my web design subsid. module in my first year ;)
