We went down again yesterday - the weather held out until almost exactly the same time, although it was only a light sprinkling this time. The last band, The Little Kids (I thinkMarkMark said:It was a wicked day out!

It's a shame it started raining later, but by that time my companions and I had lost interest and were paying far more attention to Saurons two TV towers, and the sphinxes guarding them at the bottom (looming above us in full technicolor magic mushroom-o-vision).
I think the best music of the day for me was that bizzare shrieking Japanese band, who finished up with that screaming version of the Monkey Magic theme tune. That. woz. clarse.![]()
) were pretty good - some nice grinding bass and filthy percussion. I also gave in and bought a karimba, which is one of those far-eastern finger piano things - lovely sound.
Yeah, the sherry was rather poor, wasn't it? It seemed to be some kind of dry, weak variant - I can only guess that they must have run out of the usual stuff (which is much richer and sweeter, more Madeira).
