I don't like butter or marge etc, 25% seems quite a lot.
Fair enough. I seem to remember taking the mickey out of you on a thread about toast, and for the same reason. TBH I'm not really keen on butter, though I do like it in small quantities. How come you don't like it anyway?

the best croissants in London are from the french bakery in Queensway. that's where you should go, not fucking tesco.

I don't live in London

Incidently I bought some 'toaster' crossiants for tomorrow's breakfast they are more like a pain au chocolat shape and you bung em in the toaster.

Will reveal the results later!!

Butter etc tastes like fat on bread, yucky.
I don't have it in sandwiches, but then again I don't really like bread either.

If its not too thick I think I can live with a little melty butter but the amount they stick on shit in those adverts makes me want to puke.

I used to have it on everthing but I think I cut it out when I moved in with my now wife who has never had it. Now I can't understand why I pointlessly put it on so much stuff.

Are you from the UK originally?

Do you eat quite healthily?

Just wondering.

I am from the UK.

I'm fairly heathy as of a few years ago. After being on the veg for a while eating a burger king type thing actualy made me sick.

I'm no fitness freak but I feel better for eating better, trouble is I fuck it up by drinking and smoking too much and not doing any exersize.

I would have thought it was more than that. Kitkats are about 450 arn't they?

Yes but croissants are less fattening.

No sugar really - unlike the kitkat which has the devil-may-care combo of being loaded with both.

410 for a La Boulangere croissant, 510 for a milk kitkat according to my guide ...

that's not exactly a culinary horror, but it should be pointed out that the best croissants in the world are plain and straight out of the baker.

It should be pointed out that it is nowhere near a 'culinary horror', in fact savoury croissant are quite comoon. Where I come from they are anyway.

I note from your advertised location that you come from a land with a certain culinary reputation....
