It's being looked on very favourably by Catalan and Basque nationalists here.

indeed, there was a referendum in catalonia on the 18th of june on a new satute for catalonia which gives them many more powers. the catalans wanted to be described as a nation, but it was refused on the ground that it was unconstitutional. the catalans voted for it.

Interesting little development in Montenegro, where a retired Serbian Gendarmerie general, Bratislav Dikić, has been indicted - along with a bunch of Montenegrin politicians, including two leaders from the opposition Democratic Front - in relation to an alleged coup plot in October “attempting to overthrow the government and kill the pro-Western then-prime minister, Milo Djukanovic, to prevent Montenegro from joining NATO.”

Serbian General Denies Montenegro Putsch Charges :: Balkan Insight

All a bit confusing so any insight gratefully received.

The party in power in Montenegro is the Democratic Party of Socialists of Montenegro (DPS), a successor party to the old League of Communists of Montenegro; the Democratic Front seems to be an anti-DPS lash-up comprising various Serb/Montenegrin unionists, Serb nationalists, social conservatives, leftists and communists(!)
