Critical Mass 26th Sep 08 (now officially legal!)

Just seen this ... :)

From Paulie's link in the London forum ...

I'm very much a retired and former Critical Mass activist these days, mainly because the foools!!! persist on doing their happenings on Friday nights.

What, are they mad???

Or teetotal? Which amounts to almost the same thing? :hmm:

Very imminently, I'm about to be spending much more of my time outside London, so although we're around this particular w/e. , we won't be on this Friday's CM -- shame but Debbie hasn't got a bike in London ;) and Mutoid Waste will be preoccupying us ...

Beer too. Anyone heading home after Critical Mass, who'll be passing near the City Road/Old Street area, and who fancies a quality pint, head for the Wenlock Arms N1 (googlit!).

We'll be there from 10 pm Friday ... :)

Don't be silly, Will!

The ride finishes about 9.30pm - that's the perfect time to go to the pub. :)

I often go to CM before a night out. It's very energising and I'm always on a fantastic high afterwards, and up for an ol' knees-up.

Come along!

OK I'd had a few pints last night when I postyed that :p :o

I do seriously think the Friday-night-just-before-the-weekend thing would put some people off though, there's always so much else happening ... not just pub-centred but often so. In my case, was always meeting Debbie at Paddington or heading on the train to Wales, or both of us heading for festies etc.

Thursdays, and I'd have been on it regularly .....

Anyway, we can't come unfortunately, Debbie hasn't got a bike in London and we're busy ... Mutoid Waste Co and so on (see London forum for relevant thread)

I used to go quite a bit, but haven't been for ages. Only been a few times after my mate got knocked off his bike & his bike run over by some nutter.

And Will- just take beer with you. I have drunk my own beer (or cider) on every mass I have been on, and have only once had to fight a Policeman.
