At the moment I like to get 2 sausage rolls, smear them with thai sweet chilli sauce and cover with cheddar. Zap them in the microwave til the cheese melts and stick between 2 slicesof bread.
Piles of hot roast pork (not too fatty), decent quality stuffing, apple sauce, incredible crackling and if I'm feeling extravagant a dash of gravy and a couple of roast potatoes, all in a dinner plate-sized white breadcake.
ham, roast pork, salami, Swiss cheese, pickles (girkins etc), lettuce, tomato, mustard and mayonnaise, in a cuban bread if you can get it, if not try something like a cibbatta and then hot press it so the cheese starts to melt a bit - you can put the lettuce in afterwards if you don't like it wilted - it's the mother of all sandwiches and great to make a really big one and serve to loads of people
Cheap white bread, pile of back bacon and brown sauce. Job done.
It should be noted that I live in the US where good bacon is rarer than a honest president, a good bacon sarnie is one of the first things I look for when visiting home.
