Grovesner Centre northampton is fairly lame also, due to poor quality and dirt.

It does hav a security bloke who is the dead spit of nelson mandela though.

Grovesnor isn't nearly as lame as the peacock place!


That Mendela lookalike is called Mac, My brother works with him

Don't like any of them but would put Stratford below even Elephant & Castle.

I once found a very rare Slim Smith LP in the old one in Wandsworth so it no longer hold as grim memories as it otherwise would.

The big ones like Blue Water are horrific, and being a dread I always get followed round by security. A good excuse never to visit them.

Elephant & Castle is the grimmest I've been in.

I'm actually quite surprised by how decent the local shopping district in Sutton is. It's not great by any means, but it's pretty good considering how clsoe by Kingston and Croydon are.

It's by no means the worst I've seen, but by virtue of the fact that I used to have to go here quite alot the 'Dolphin' shopping centre in Poole gets my vote.

Yeah, even calling it "Dolphin" can't liven it up. In fact, the whole of Poole town centre is pretty grim IMHO, and desolate after 6 pm.

But then, I hate all shopping centres. I like to feel like I'm outside when I wander around.

Ashford has the worst shopping centre eva.

I remember this hole in the 70's, absolutely dreadful (and not in a full of dreads way) concrete place full of skinheads (prob. more early '80's then). Don't know what it's like now that they've got Ashford International etc they must've spent some money on it.

it's a manmade monstrosity, no character whatsoever.

they keep saying the ashford international thing is going to make it better, with superfast trains to London. But they keep saying that about MiltonKeynes aswell.

Nah...its GOT to be The Galleries, Aldershot....meant to be an outlet shopping centre, but its only got 3 shops!

The rest of Aldershot is dreadful too.

Farnborough is wonderful compared to Aldershot.
