Craft club BBQ -- August

So MS T or other prospective hosts, what's the plan, what sort of event is it and where is it.

Hello everyone!

I thought that people weren't keen, but they obviously are and I'm still up for it so let's do it!

The weather forecast for Sunday is looking OK, so I suggest we carry on with the BBQ idea for now. There's plenty of room indoors at mine if it does rain, plus we have a patio heater to keep any chilliness at bay.

And hendo's got the day off work now, so he can be chief cook and bottle-washer again.

(hendo makes hasty plans to go out on Sunday)

I'd prefer afternoon if we can do it. Saves the worry of me missing the tube on the way home.

I was thinking about 3pm?

Maybe the best thing is for people to say here what they're planning to bring, so other people can get something else.

I was planning to contribute sausages, burgers and a couple of nice salads.

Shall I bring some chicken bits, I'll marinate and cook them at home, they can then be heated up on the bbq?

I'll bring a bowl of tzatziki and some halloumi if I can find any.

I'll bring a dessert of some description but it won't be summer pudding now as I haven't had time to pick blackberries.

Ok, I got some chicken, so i'll do the marinate cook thing. I'll make hommus, bring some pita to go with it and see if I can bring some fresh blackberries.

Veggy stuff would be good -- I've got courgettes and peppers and red onion, so we could also make some veggie kebabs with zora's halloumi. I've even got some BBQ trays so we can keep the meat and veggie stuff separate!
