Cracking speech by Galloway in Commons.

No, it's the same wagon - but whether music is allowed depends on exactly which sect of Muslims GG is trying to impress this week. Some insist all music is haram.

instead of mocking, you should be saluting his courage and indefatigability!

sorry but GG is bullshit and does the cause of chnage constant harm .. yes on occasion he steams into the scum who run thsi country .. BUT he is basically a wide boy who swans around the world, his pockets full of cash, rather than doing any serious political work .. consequence?? the good ideas the good speeches he does don't work!

and if he speaks for the millions .. where are they at elections? it is high time we kicked the ego manics like him out of our movement

He's won all of his elections.

Swanning around the world with pockets full of cash?

Ooooh you've got me there. That's a stunning argument on the topic of the inquiry into the war. Swanning around the world with his pockets full of cash?

Doesn't do any serious political work? Well he wouldn't, would he? He's swanning around the world with pockets full of cash.

his attendance record at parliament is crap, his rep as representing consitituents was crap, his electoral camapaign was racially divisise, his reputation in TH is generally crap, his cosying up to saddam was sick, he was dealing with all sorts of corupt and nasty people with his charity and he shows himself up every time he is on talk sport by failing to engage genuinely openly with people who diagree with him.

he is an egomaniac who is spot on about the british state and Iraq, butr his faults just discredit the rest of the movement. people like him we can do without

You, Durutti, are NuLabor's archetypal "useful idiot."

hes an obnoxious self-serving cunt who's good at arguing. Being good at arguing makes you neither more right or less of a cunt IMO

nulabour? give it up, you're way out of your depth as always .. btw you never told us what it is you do politically? certainly you have no knowledge of east end and east london politics

Phil is part of an informal international diplomatic corps. He goes to foreign lands and turns them against the UK. :)

Look mate. sorry. I wasn't going to say coz it was almost like Rach....

You're just not cutting it. You need to get some decent argument going there...it's just not worth it. I am not going to sit here and pick on your nonsense, every now and then fair enough, I'm as bad as the next man I won't deny it, but I'm not jumping through your self-flaggatory hoops by pouring the lemon-like urine of scorn on this.....rubbish.

What are you on about?

I have extensive knowledge of that politics, having lived in Hackney for a considerable period of time, unlike yourself. You will go a long way to find one as au fait with east end politics as I.

I don't think I'll bother asking for links to back those comments up, we both know you don't have any.

Can I ask which others we should be concentrating on...in the movement*

*campaign for stating the bloody obvious

gallahway's attendance at parliament: http://tinyurl.com/nefts9
he's voted in 93/1070 divisions in the commons, 8.7% - which is fuck all. suggesting he's often somewhere else.

representing constituents: http://www.writetothem.com/stats/2007/mps
he's not the best of correspondents, 620/650

racially divisive election campaign: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article1069566.ece

Whilst not really being a Galloway fan despite Zachor hating him - his Press TV appearances are enough - Labour's smear campaign during the election struck me and still strikes me as being basically bollocks.

also not a fan, but when the Telegraph stormed into Baghdad with the first wave of troops and managed to locate files on him quite easily. :hmm: was a sign of the political blunt instrument of Downing St it was/is becoming.

Best peice of investigative journalism to come out that period was Dan Cruckshank's piece on the historic artifacts in the museums. Hope it got an award.
