.. When I'm doing a deep clean, I sometimes use wooden toothpicks to scrape out those types of edges. More forgiving than a knife. I wipe the toothpick in a piece of kitchen towel and use it again a couple of times, then the other end, then just throw it away.

I use old toothbrushes

It is good panpete you have taped up the cracks because now you don't have to worry about the fridge frost wievels getting out! Luckily fridge frost wievels measure about an inch across, so the cracks have to be pretty wide to let them out - they are one also of the many reasons for not leaving the fridge door open longer than is absolutely necessary.
