CPGB (M-L) statement on migration

durruti02 said:
wtf .. did you bother to read the OP ???? LOL it is not attacking migrants and nor do I .. dont be so fucking lazy about something so emotive and important

my obsession is not with immigration but with the ignorent reaction of the left which you have kust illustrated so accurately

immigration is but one issue we need to debate .. but it is the one issue YOU are obsessed with ignoring

come back when you have read the OP and link and post something relevent

And since when have I been a spokesman for the left?

I'm the child of immigrants, so accusing me of ignoring or being 'ignorant' of the issue is more than a little rich. What's clear is that I'm sick and tired of your flaccid, transparently simplisitic anti-immigration bollocks. Give it a rest - you're a fucking embarrassment.

And your view is that the majority of immigrants are willing patsies, 'used' by the bosses then?

Either that or you've left a phrase off your last sentence.

A tad on the simplistic side there :D
yes, because trades unionism historically has predominantly been in favour of immigration control, in the UK at least, AFAIK.

As i say, someone needs to go and find out what the unions in the US were up to in the face of huge migration earlier in the 20th C and see if what they did offers some ideas/inspiration

Trade Unions have also historically been reformist piles of shite too. The point isn't about whether or not people deserve to be able to cross borders (as individuals they do) it's about the fact you can't have a revolution in one country. The fewer barriers between different nations and cultures the greater the spread of the rev.!

Do you ever get the feeling your banging your head against a brick wall.:(

The ideas you have are never going to be accepted by some people. They don't have any intention of seriously debating the subject. I think they just want to wind you up. Maybe your making it too easy for them?:(
