10" LP, from 1955.

is Angel of The Morning on it?

No, sadly not. But these are:

You Ain't Woman Enough
D-I-V-O-R-C-E
You Changed Everything About Me But My Name
Ride, Ride, Ride
Jackson Ain't A Very Big Town
Crying Time
Ramblin' Man
A Satisfied Mind*

(*Could it be the same track El Jefe mentioned is on the Red Sovine album? I'll check later...)

Yehm it will be. Absolute country classic. Check the Walkabouts version. And the Jonathan Richman one.

So - 10p.

That's £70 the lot, you could probably beat them down to 50.

I would seriously buy the lot.

Ah, right! Cheers again.

Y'know I'd surely love to, but I'm behind on the alimony to all three wives... :D

-Seriously though, I'm too broke to buy the lot. :o:( I can only comfort myself with the knowledge that at least 60% of this stuff will probably be unlistenable.

-Maybe I'll just say 'fuck it' tomorrow though, and stretch myself to another ...er... 100 albums. :D

*starts whipround* :D

I could bequeath the lot to Urban or the nation. It'd be like a civic duty or something.

<salutes> :D

Update: I've just managed to secure some financial assistance if necessary, btw. (-I say 'if necessary', 'cos believe me, there's no way every album would be worth getting!)

Haven't listened to this one yet, but I love the sleeve.

It's just called "Affair!". :D

-Mmmm, gingham in the long grass...

Soj and I might just have to raid your house..

* soj, I'll gain entry, will you be getaway driver please? *

I got one other album by him, which depicts him as a County Sheriff (-rather like that comedy one chasing Bond's speedboat in Live And Let Die...). :D

Ta. :)

I googled, but couldn't find much about it. It's on the Vocalion label if that's any help!

Googling Bob takes a bit of time. Couldn't find anything else on this except it got released on CD in 2002 by Music Digital and I have a funny feeling I have it in storage.

Sounds like it was an original album as opposed to a compilation. He recorded into the 1970s!!!!

Info on the label here: http://rateyourmusic.com/label/vocalion_records/6

released 1965 but no idea when the tracks were recorded

Cheers for the info. :)

Confusingly, I found similar details of the vinyl release elsewhere online, but despite having the same catalogue number, it lists a completely different tracklisting.

Confuzzlement abounds... :hmm: :D
