You ought to try changing banks and then accidentally missing a direct debit payment ... I came back from holiday to a letter informing me I was being taken to court ... then they cocked-up and missed another payment - and of course its being the second time the red letter made it sound like the bailiffs were coming round.

I had been living at the same address for 24 years and made 240 such payments to them without fail.

I suggested to them that maybe they ought to get their software tweaked ....

Re. the single person's allowance - they clearly know I'm on the shelf and never ask me to confirm.

oooh..you got a letter? Last year Lambeth council took me to court without telling me and charged me £100 for the privilege. All because I was £25 late on a payment.

I think Lambeth Council Tax dept might be 'doing something' at the moment cos someone I know recently got chased for a couple of years of unpaid CT at a previous address they were at several years ago even though they never received a single bill the whole time they were there.

Or it's a coincidence.

I've just completed mine and noticed that the reply envelope is not self sealing. Do you think this is a sneaky way of them collecting DNA samples from us?

All three of them in full-time employment, and only one still living in Lambeth. One not even living in London anymore. All three got individually named/addressed letters (each letter was for the full amount, I might add!).

You have to present your masturbation diary, your loneliness records, and photographs of you sat by yourself on the sofa trying to finish two pork chops (cos you can never just get 1!).
