Could you eat an elephant?

dude, I'm poor- we poor folk don't have the m/c smuggery choice of bourgeois vegetarianism. I know you subsist on a diet of hummus and freindchip doritos, but some of us need meat to survive the Game.

Every reference to those fucking adverts is a dagger through my heart. On the plus side, turns out I have a heart.

I've had worm omelettes, and various fly larva, both rather good. The fly larvawith chilli are rather good. Alligator, frog, emu, are all rather good too. The one I like most though is dolphin. Blakened dolphin sandwiches are among my favourite foods.

even I wouldn't eat cetacean ffs, that is just wrong

I've tried (standard UK garden) worms, as well as alligator and frog.

I imagine dolphin must be a pretty "meaty" fish*. I've had marlin, which was gorgeous, it had the taste of fish but the texture of a really good steak.

*yeah yeah, it's a mammal. For the purposes of dining it came from the sea, so it's a bloody fish :p

I would have eaten the elephant, after all it lived wild and had a good life, not to eat it would have been to waste it.

Would not have eaten the insects though I do eat sea creatures mariscada plenty without squeams!

Would not have eaten dog also.

I just think of the sea creatures as edible and the insects as not ..

It probably would make a difference if insects went pink when cooked!

Wood lice turn pink and taste like shrimps. You'd need a lot to make a shrimp cocktail though.
