Cost of wine in pubs

Me & my friend just got a bottle of wine for £7.50 in the Walkabout bar.

The thing with wine is that the stuff you get in pubs is exactly the same as you get in off licences/ supermarkets etc whereas with beer to my mind a pint in a pub is always pereferable to that poured out of a can and so by going to the pub you feel that you are getting something you dont get at home - 'added value' or whatever marketing people talk about

I don't usually go there (in Bristol anyway) but it was OK, better than I expected. Not too busy as it was early evening, food was good and they had football on.

It's even cheaper in Bradford! (Could get a glass of wine for £1.60 there!!)

Yeah, but that wine is probably produced in Bradford too.
