I saw how you'd completely ruined the Christmas plot but decided not to have a go because doing that would confirm to other people that it was a real spoiler and not something you'd made up. But now you've gone and confirmed it too.

And no, it's not some crappy American drama, it's a longstanding much-loved soap. And you've gone and spoiled the year's big storyline. Nice one.

Corrie is the only soap I'll allow on in the house - if my missus had her way she'd be watching all of them, so I weaned her off Eastenders (though she watches it occasionally when I'm not there) but I've completely banned fucking Hollyoaks because it's a pile of absolute surplus shite (successfully too, it's not been on in our house for years!) and Emmerdale is now a take it or leave it thing.

The only other soap thing she watches is The O.C. - I find it repulsive, but at least the women in it are attractive, an attribute sorely lacking in Emmerdale/Eastenders.

I don't read them. I don't read the endings of books either, or watch a film from the fucking ending.

I would have thought owt like that would come with a spoiler alert on urban.

Okay it's not the end of the world, but it does fucking well annoy me when that happens. It's like someone blabbing the score for a match you've not seen, or telling the ending of a book or film. Just cos it's a soap opera doesn't make it any less enjoyable or prone to having the enjoyment ruined by cunts who can't keep their gobs shut

Which is why, when I had it completely ruined for me by those mags, I quickly told my other half (who loves Corrie much more than I do) to be careful not to look at those mags. So he didn't. Only to come on here and have it spoiled for him any way.
