Got notice of furloughing in the company today. I'm hoping I will be as I can manage on what will be available. They're only topping up the government amount by a nominal sum and I really don't see the place lasting long beyond all this. Given the nature of the business they should be being super proactive at the moment but it feels like they're almost creaking or plodding along. This was the Piccadily Line at 8am Tuesday morning.. YesssYesterday I was offered the use of a van to take home, but had to decline because I don't have a parking permit.
Today I discovered that my local council have suspended parking restrictions.
Me on my way to work tomorrow

It’s brilliant.That’s incredible Hollis
Apart from the people dying in hospital, obviously, anyone else thinking the outside world is about a hundred times nicer in the Age of Covid? The roads are clear, no fumes, no stressful crowds, sparser numbers of people walking and running in the spring sunshine, more interaction and shared moments at 6 foot distance. It reminds me of Sunday shifts, in the best way. Finding it quite relaxing, but that might also be the contrast of stepping out of the hospital into what feels like Eden with this weather.
